Nature Aquarium Festival 2019

“What is the essence of a beautiful landscape? The compositional beauty produced by flora and other things may be part of it, but isn’t it ultimately a perfectly functioning ecosystem? It is, in fact, a balance. The world of aquarium is no exception…..’what type of environment would I prefer if I were a fish’ was always at the base when the layouts were created.” – Takashi Amano

The Nature Aquarium Festival was held to celebrate the artistic expression of Nature – Aquascaping.

With the ever growing popularity of the hobby, there was a need to bring like minded people under one roof to discuss, learn and to be inspired.

This festival gave the hobbyists a platform to meet fellow hobbyists and to help draw inspiration from the awards. The team worked hard to put together this festival to help improve the hobby and create lasting experiences for people through various activities over the three days. We wanted to ensure that they went back with many cherished memories.

The festival encompassed talks by eminent personalities, contests, workshops, aquatic plant markets, tours, walks, socializing opportunities, fashion shows etc.

The event concluded by presenting the awards for The Great Indian Aquascaping Contest followed by a Gala Dinner.

The NA Festival was held on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of Feb 2019 in Bangalore, India.

Everything was in perfect and I learnt so many things like hardscape, layout planning, selecting plants etc,. The best part is pricing. Most of the hobbyist won't buy the tickets because of pricing but this time it's really a great deal.
Still water aquatics is doing very good job, by inspiring the hobbyist and aquarist's with award for their skill. This will prompt hobbyist to go further and do more.

I loved the workshops the most. Nothing like getting a hands-on experience with the right products, especially to those who haven't had the opportunity to.

Overall the session is very good. Mostly all the practical session by LC Chan and Dave chow was really useful.

Terra 30 workshop was the best and Dr.Shivakumar’s talk was the best of the entire event very motivating and inspiring.

I loved the workshops and would recommend they be given more time and importance. The knowledge imparted by them is unparalleled to any talk shows.
